Voices of Finland at Chelsea Music Festival

Yesterday Night I’ve been invited to a wonderful Music Festival: Chelsea Music Festival in NYC.
In celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Jean Sibelius, a great concert with Tapiola chamber Choir (Finland) took place in St. Paul’s Church, where we could hear some of his great Pieces but not only. The audience could not be still while listening to the conductor and author Jaako Mäntyjärvi‘s “Smoking can Kill”, the proof that classical Music can make people laugh too !!
Later that Night, the Budapest After Dark (Trio) played some great Jazz (a mix of traditionnal & electronic) with some piano, saxophone and the Cimbalon which is this Music instrument I’ve sketched. Thanks a lot to Maria Cox, Ken and Melinda Masur (from the great Masur’s Family) for this delightful Evening !!
